Ask questions about a PDF, with verified quotes
The document is searched locally for relevant excerpts, which are sent with your question. If the excerpts cannot answer it, the tool says so plainly instead of guessing.
How to use it
- Sign in, then add one text-based PDF (first 20 pages).
- Type one question and run the task — each question is a separate task and uses 1 trial.
- Click a citation's page marker to see that page's text; re-reading earlier answers is free.
Limits & formats
Text-based PDFs up to 30 MB; retrieval covers the first 20 pages per question. Citations are quotes YYSI checks verbatim against the excerpts; if none support an answer, the response is an explicit "no evidence". Contradictory passages may both be quoted — read the citations. One trial per question asked, not per document read.
Privacy
Your question plus locally selected excerpts are sent through YYSI's server to our AI provider (DeepSeek). YYSI stores token usage, the answer and its citations — not your file. Answers are kept for 24 hours, then become unavailable.
