Contrast checker (WCAG 2.1)
How to use it
- Add one image and choose the number of palette colors.
- Click a swatch to copy its HEX value.
- Pick text and background colors to see the contrast ratio and WCAG verdicts.
Limits & formats
One image per run, up to 20 MB and 25 megapixels. Colors are extracted with median-cut quantization on a sampled pixel grid — a palette, not a brand guide. Contrast ratios follow the WCAG 2.1 relative-luminance formula; AA requires 4.5:1 (large text 3:1) and AAA 7:1, but the tool cannot judge whether a combination is readable for your specific audience or medium.
Privacy
Your image is processed locally in this browser tab. YYSI servers never receive your files. Only anonymous usage counters (tool name, success or failure, rough size range) are recorded.
